Guinness Nigeria has announced its partnership with Lagos State to support the maiden edition of the Lagos Shopping Festival, a groundbreaking initiative designed to boost commerce, tourism, and cultural exchange in Nigeria’s bustling economic hub.
The festival, spearheaded by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, aims to provide employment opportunities, stimulate local businesses, and attract global brands, solidifying Lagos’s reputation as a premier global tourist destination.
The event is slated to run from December 23 to December 25, 2024, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena (Onikan Stadium) on Lagos Island. Over three days, attendees will experience an immersive blend of commerce, culture, and entertainment. With participation from leading local and international brands, the festival is expected to draw thousands of visitors, sparking economic activities and showcasing Lagos’s vibrant entrepreneurial energy.
Governor Sanwo-Olu lauded Guinness Nigeria’s commitment to the festival, emphasising its significance in driving economic growth and cultural celebration in Lagos.
